The Toughness Factor
Only Benchmark® measures combined tensile strength and elongation. Benchmark demonstrates
superiority in both factors – making Benchmark’s toughness rating three to six times
that of it nearest competitors! With superior tensile strength and elongation, Benchmark
can withstand the expansion and contraction caused by temperature extremes without
creeping, cracking or peeling.
Most other acrylic roofing products on the market today can’t match Benchmark® acrylic
coating for its performance in extreme summer heat, below-freezing winter temperatures,
and freeze/thaw conditions. After 24 months exposure in south Florida, direct inland,
45 degrees south, Benchmark is rated very good for general appearance and dirt resistance
by an independent research service.
Testing and Approvals
Underwriters Laboratories Exterior Fire Resistance – ANSI/UL 790/ASTM E108 and CAN/ULC
– S107M Exterior Fire Classifications – Class A combustible and noncombustible decks.
Approved in UL constructions 181, 136, 206.
