For One Tough Roof.

Who can afford to take chances?

Benchmark® acrylic elastomeric coating combines the performance of urethane with the benefits of acrylic to create a roofing membrane that lasts. This premium product provides the toughest protection available. Benchmark® consists of a blue base coat and an energy efficient white top coat.

Features

  • Environmentally friendly 100 percent acrylic polymers
  • Seamless waterproof membrane completely protects substrate
  • Generates substantial cooling savings (85 percent reflectivity)
  • VOC compliant
  • Durable finish improves dirt resistance
  • Withstands temperature extremes
  • Easy Application saves you time
  • Saves money by lowering cooling costs

The Toughness Factor

Only Benchmark® measures combined tensile strength and elongation. Benchmark demonstrates superiority in both factors – making Benchmark’s toughness rating three to six times that of it nearest competitors! With superior tensile strength and elongation, Benchmark can withstand the expansion and contraction caused by temperature extremes without creeping, cracking or peeling.

Most other acrylic roofing products on the market today can’t match Benchmark® acrylic coating for its performance in extreme summer heat, below-freezing winter temperatures, and freeze/thaw conditions. After 24 months exposure in south Florida, direct inland, 45 degrees south, Benchmark is rated very good for general appearance and dirt resistance by an independent research service.

Testing and Approvals

Underwriters Laboratories Exterior Fire Resistance – ANSI/UL 790/ASTM E108 and CAN/ULC – S107M Exterior Fire Classifications – Class A combustible and noncombustible decks. Approved in UL constructions 181, 136, 206.

Factory Mutual Research FM 4470 – Class I roof cover for fire (ASTM E108), wind, hail, and leakage over spray applied polyurethane foam and metal roofs.

ICBO-International Conference of Building Officials – Benchmark® has passed the acceptance criteria for membrane roof coverings systems. Benchmark meets requirements accepted by the Uniform Building Code identified in evaluation report ER 5203.

British Standard BS6920 – “Suitability of products for use in contact with water intended for human consumption with regard to their effect on the quality of water.” As tested by an independent laboratory. Result: Pass.
